As the sun sets over the rolling hills of Tuscany, join Luca, our award-winning sommelier and storyteller, for an intimate dinner under the stars. With years of experience in the art of pairing food and wine, Luca brings to life the deep-rooted traditions of Tuscan cuisine. Imagine yourself gathered around a beautifully set table in our garden, where each dish tells a story of the land and its people.

Your evening begins with a classic Crostino Nero Toscano, rich with the authentic flavors of the region. Then, a steaming bowl of Ribollita, the heartwarming Tuscan bread soup, slow-cooked to perfection. For the main course, savor Roast Beef di Chianina—a specialty of the area—served with sautéed spinach. And to finish, Luca’s favorite: Tiramisù, prepared the way his nonna used to make it.

Wine & Tapas with Luca

Step into the world of Tuscan wines with Luca, one of Italy’s top sommeliers. With a glass in hand and the warm glow of candlelight, you'll embark on a guided tasting that brings the finest local flavors to your palate. Luca’s knowledge and passion make this more than just a tasting—it’s an exploration of Tuscany through its most celebrated wines and dishes.

Each of the five tapas courses is paired with a meticulously selected local wine:

  • Sformatino di Spinaci con Crema di Pecorino – A delicate spinach flan with pecorino cream, paired with Lya Tenute di Fraternita, a crisp white wine.

  • Crostone Pecorino, Mele, Noci e Miele – A rustic crostini topped with pecorino cheese, apples, walnuts, and honey, paired with Rosantico Pomaio, a vibrant organic rosé.

  • Tortello Maremmano con Ragù Toscano o Funghi – Handmade pasta filled with ricotta, served with either a classic Tuscan meat ragù or earthy mushrooms, matched with Le Nuvole Podere Colle Primo.

  • Spezzatino di Cinghiale in Umido – A rich, slow-cooked wild boar stew, perfectly complemented by Grattacapo Az Agricola Nonno Simone.

  • Cantucci e Gelato alla Crema – Tuscany’s famous almond biscuits with vanilla gelato, paired with Maestà del Bagno Vin Santo.

With every swirl, sip, and story, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the region’s winemaking traditions. This experience includes four carefully selected wines, each accompanied by a traditional board of artisanal cheeses and cured meats:

  • Il Patriota Metodo Classico Cantina Fregnan – A sparkling wine that sets the tone for a delightful afternoon.

  • Veneris Bianco Podere Colle Primo – A fresh and aromatic white wine from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes.

  • Strada 69 IGT Az Agricola Mariottini – A bold and smooth red blend of Sangiovese and Merlot.
